Program in Law and Public Affairs – Fellowship

Princeton University’s Program in Law and Public Affairs (LAPA) invites outstanding faculty, independent scholars, lawyers, and judges to apply for appointments as Fellows for the academic year 2012-2013.

Call for Applications

LAPA (Law and Public Affairs) will select up to five resident Fellows who are engaged in substantial research on topics broadly related to legal studies, including one Microsoft/LAPA Fellow specializing in intellectual property or the legal regulation of the economy.  Successful candidates will devote an academic year in residence at Princeton engaging in their own research and in the intellectual life of the Program.  Some fellows may be offered the opportunity to teach a course subject to approval by the Dean of the Faculty.

Applicants must have a doctorate, JD or an equivalent postgraduate degree.  The application deadline is 5:00 PM (EST) Monday, November 7, 2011.

EPA New England Honors Attorney Fellowship

The United States Environmental Protection Agency’s New England Office seeks applications for its Honors Attorney Fellowship only from U.S. citizens who are:

  • law students at accredited law schools or joint degree programs completing their degree work in the 2011/2012 academic year, and
  • current judicial clerks recently graduated from accredited law schools.

The Fellowship begins in September, 2012, and the Fellow is expected to commit to a two-year term. A new Fellow will be hired each year—thus two Fellows serve concurrently. Applications must be submitted via regular or express mail, or email and must be postmarked no later than October 14, 2011.
