The University of Akron will host its Sixth Annual Black Male Summit on April 12-13, 2013. The conference is open to all, but is geared towards the needs of the Black Male Community and will address a broad spectrum of topics ranging from networking, race relations, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and strategies for personal and professional growth. The Black Male Summit Planning Committee Co-Chairs are: Lee Gill, Associate Vice President & Chief Diversity Officer and Jim Tressel, Vice President of Strategic Engagement.
