UNCF (United Negro College Fund) Walk For Education – September 17, 2011

JMLBA recently accepted the challenge of raising money again for the UNCF Walk for Education. This cause is important to the organization because it will make a college education accessible to more students by eliminating financial barriers through scholarships.  You can help to increase the number of scholarships awarded by joining the JMLBA team as a walker, or by making a donation toward the team goal. Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC) Meeting

MEETING OF THE OHIO CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSION

At this meeting, OCRC Commissioners will hear arguments from parties of discrimination complaints and will rule on cases that have undergone investigation in one of the agency’s six regional offices.

The OCRC receives and investigates charges of discrimination in employment, housing, places of public accommodation, credit, and higher education on the basis of race, color, sex, age, ancestry, religion, national origin, disability, and families with children.
